Problematic uses of video games: the substituted soul and body

Virtual worlds and the Internet are new spaces of socialization and development for adolescents: a welcome scene where internal tensions, questions, doubts and fears are expressed. However, the characteristics of virtual worlds expose some addictive risk. Our position as a caregiver is to be a world’s passers-by: from virtual reality to physical and material reality, from infans to adulthood, from psychic structuring to the construction of a status, between subjectivation and individuation.
