What is a psychologist at a CAARUD? Elements of theoretical reflections based on professional experience at the CAARUD in Saint-Denis

CAARUDs are day care centres welcoming a population of drug users. Originating from the law of 31st December 2005, they are part of the implementation of a harm reduction policy dealing with the use of psychoactive substances. Through the work experience of a clinical psychologist at the CAARUD Saint-Denis (93), the author proposes to explore the specifics of follow-up from this public with significant ordealic and mortiferous behaviours, as well as to describe some of the methodological tools and theoretical contributions necessary for her professional practice.
