English

ADHD is a yet poorly known disorder among adults in France. Furthermore, its diagnosis is often made more difficult by the presence of comorbidities, including the addictive ones. A clinical case of a female patient who had developed an addiction to Tramadol will allow us to illustrate the issue of delayed diagnosis of ADHD in the adult population. We will then discuss the complexity of the subject of the comorbidity of ADHD with several disorders presented by this patient and the importance of fine differential diagnosis. Then we will present recommendations for treating ADHD with some specificities related to the presence of an addiction.
